Security Deposit – Terms & Conditions
To ensure the proper care of the property, a security deposit is required for all reservations.
The security deposit is managed through Swikly, a secure third-party platform. Guests will receive a secure link prior to arrival to provide their credit card details.
Security Deposit via Credit Card

The security deposit is not charged and no amount is blocked on the guest’s credit card.

Credit card details are collected solely as a guarantee.

In the event of damage, loss, missing items, or violation of house rules during the stay, the host reserves the right to charge the corresponding amount, up to the value of the security deposit.

If the total cost of the damage exceeds the security deposit amount, the host is entitled to charge the difference, and the guest agrees to settle any remaining balance.

Any charge related to damages may be processed up to a maximum of 7 days after check-out, following inspection of the property.

If no damages or issues are identified, no charge will be made.
Security Deposit Waiver (Optional)
As an alternative, guests may choose to purchase a non-refundable Security Deposit Waiver for a fixed fee.

By opting for the Security Deposit Waiver, guests are not required to provide credit card details for the security deposit.

The waiver covers accidental damages occurring during the stay, up to the agreed coverage limit.

The waiver does not cover intentional damage, gross negligence, missing items, or violations of house rules.

In cases where damages exceed the coverage of the waiver or fall outside its scope, the guest remains fully responsible for the excess amount.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing either the security deposit process via Swikly or purchasing the Security Deposit Waiver, guests confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these terms.
